My sleeping boys

Done feeding k early this morning and, on a whim, put him beside the still-sleeping K instead of back into his cot. Lying down side by side, the two boys look so sweet together I couldn't resist taking this photo. K has been very enamoured with his little brother since Day One -- smothering him with kisses and pats on a daily basis -- while k seems to look at his big brother with a sense of awe and anticipation whenever he is near. I sure am looking forward to the day when these two can do things together and be great company for each other!

A second long term photo series besides the one I'm doing with Zanne, this time an individual one focusing on my boys. This project was inspired by one from a blog I have recently started reading and fallen in love with. Weekly photos of them would be great to document their  growth, and to reminisce memorable moments of the year!

this would have been what he was saying to me at bedtime last night, as he did what he did when we were both lying in bed...:

"mama, please don't make me go to bed yet. please?" *sits up*
"no? how about I give you a kiss?" *pecks me on my lips, then grins*
"still no? how about one more kiss?" *pecks me on my cheek, then grins again*
"three kiss? four kiss?" *pecks me on my cheek again, then another on my chin, then grins again*
"ok you know what, mama? i don't care. i'm not going to sleep anyway." *proceeds to stand up on bed then thrashes himself all over the bed in his usual playful manner*
