Mr Ho said since I now have a blog that features pretty things, it's high time I do something about these Lego candies I'd made him buy for me last year.

He'd bought it with the intention of eating them; I'd prohibited him from opening it as the candies are so pretty I just want to keep them intact in the container.

And so the container has been gathering dust on my desk for months...but I still like looking at it!

A colleague brought these rubber coasters back from Japan. They're so pretty! We each got a choice of white or black ones. I like the white one too but dislike how white rubber turns yellowish over time.

I'd love to get a whole set of them - in both black & white - for my own place next time!

LITTLE THINGS THAT MAKE ME HAPPY

Going for a movie on a weekday afternoon, when most people I know are at work.

Catching a movie by myself - something I'd always thought I'd hate - and realising that - hey! it's not bad at all!

Browsing in DAISO before the movie and finding these - cute letter sets that remind me of the days when I used to write to friends.
